How do I know my oil needs changing?
Knowing when it is time for an oil change starts with your dashboard and your owner's manual. Most newer Ford models have an oil life monitor that will alert you when service is due, but you should also watch for darker, dirty oil on the dipstick, louder engine noise, or a burning-oil smell between visits.
